Neverending lists

I have a million things on my mind that I need to do. This list won't necessarily get done this week, but hopefully it will at least keep me on-task:

- Put away clean laundry
- Take out trash
- Clean bathroom - Josh did this
- Dust house - Josh did this
- Clean floors - I cleaned the wood floors. Josh vacuumed.
- Change sheets
- Weed garden
- Harvest peas
- Harvest carrots?
- Mow
- Make dessert for small group
- Make pumpkin pie for BIL's birthday
- Figure out what it is I should plant in the carrots' place.
- Get Casey's nails cut (tonight)
- Pick up prints & get gas at Costco (tonight)
- Burn long-overdue picture CDs for various newlyweds

And I'm sure there's more.

The last couple (3?) weeks, I've been a tad overwhelmed. Work has been the busiest ever, which means I've been at the office until 5:30 every night- not horribly late, but two hours later than I'm used to, which throws off my schedule. I've gotten way less done- Josh has picked up some of the slack because he's wonderful, but I've still found myself out in the garden until the sun goes down, then doing dishes at 9:30 the last two nights when I'd rather be getting to bed. Hopefully "normal" returns to the office soon.

To-do's in Gmail!

OK, just wanted to share... Gmail (in the Labs section) now has a to-do list that can pop up like a chat window, where tasks can be added & checked off. Emails can be attached to the tasks, too. I just started using this today, so we'll see how it goes. So far, I like it.

Hi. My Name Is Beth. I Used To Post Here.

:-) I need some extra motivation today. Because for the first time EVA, B and O are sleeping in the SAME ROOM at the SAME TIME.

(I'm THRILLED.)

And I have all kinds of extra time and my hearts in a whir and I don't quite know what to do with myself.

  1. Balance checkbook
  2. Fold clothes from yesterday.
  3. Take pictures of diapers to sell. (half done...)
  4. Unload dishwasher (not enough dishes to run! Yay!)
  5. Load dishwasher.
  6. Cut coupons.
  7. Prepare pork chops to be grilled.
  8. Take down dipes and stuff them.
  9. Play a rousing game of peek-a-boo with a rosy cheeked giggly toddler/baby
That's enough for now. We'll see how much I can get done with this new-found freedom...

Joanna's weekend to-do's

I'll play along. Here's my apartment kitchen:

Though, in a short week-and-a-half, I'll have a HOUSE kitchen. I won't have much more counter space or cabinet space, but it's more of an L-shape like Ashley's, so it will feel more open. And will probably look somewhat like Ashley's, with the boxes stacked everywhere.

Anyway, weekend goals:

- Make candy-corn cookies for party Saturday
- Give in and research how to shop at CVS/Walgreens
- Pack some kitchen stuff?
- Pack coat closet
- Do laundry
- Figure out dinners (I'm going to try to eat through freezer/pantry stuff so we have to move less)
- Print photos for family (aunts & uncles) & friends (wedding pictures) (This is a very optimistic goal)

Ashley's Goals for 10/25

I am being SO lazy lately.

Here is my kitchen, that I need to clean:

Now you see why I feel overwhelmed?

So here is to hoping I actually DO something today!!

1. Take trash to the dumpster.
2. Move catbox to the porch; move other catbox to our bedroom. Clean both.
3. Put cleaning supplies, etc. in the laundry closet to get them out of the kitchen.
4. Go to Walmart and look at fabric.
5. Spend at least 30 minutes cleaning the kitchen. It would be really good if I can do two 30 minute sessions.
6. Make dinner.

  3. wash clothes
  4. fold clothes again
  5. put them away
  6. take out garbage and replace bags

And right now I am off to take a nap due to the stupid night time medicine.
